Our Story
The Wolf is playful, loyal and social. It thrives in the wild as a perfectly evolved keystone species. Canto de Lobo honours these characteristics and offers you the opportunity to connect with the wolf and the wild without fear.
For five generations the Martínez family has produced Mezcal with a kind of care reserved for the closest of kin. Loyal to a purely artisanal and sustainable process this mezcal has evolved using all of nature’s elements: earth, water, air and fire.
Our story is born out of a common passion for nature’s gift Mezcal. We are friends who bonded over borders, cultures and languages to create Canto de Lobo. It is a wild story, connecting us. We believe we are all connected in our love for the wild and what mother nature offers us.
Now it’s up to you to connect and enjoy this Mezcal in your habitat, in our wolfpack you are never alone. Wolves, the wild and mezcal alike, there is no need to fear them.

To us this means compensating CO2 emissions associated with Mezcal and returning value to the Oaxacan communities.
Compensating our CO2 emissions
Our mezcal is made in an artisanal way. CO2 emissions are released through production and transportation. By purchasing CO2 emission rights through CNaught we offset CO2 emissions (scope 1, 2 and 3)*.
Supporting women’s education in Oaxaca
Girls' education is one of the most impactful aids we can provide to strengthen communities. That is why 5% of our net margin goes to the Guadalupe Musalem Fund. A foundation that since 1996 has been committed to the education of women in Oaxaca.
